Flange's massive sword smashes through the skeleton immediately before him, sending the collection of animated bones flying, their magical links disintegrating as the bleached white bones scatter, leaving a collection of dust floating in the light before the warrior. Three remain, one back and damaged already, two on the angles of the entrance.

The magic around Moira's fingers begins to solidify, and as it does, she cups her hands together and breathes into the swirling mass of color. The mass leaps from Moira's hands, and swoops out in the vague form of a bird. As it reaches a spot behind the skeleton nearest Flange, it coalesces into the form of a brilliant golden eagle - and strikes.
<Moira completes her casting of Summon Monster I, and has a Celestial Eagle appear in a position that is flanking with Flange if possible. If not, it will attack the one nearest him from behind. Either way, it uses its Smite Evil ability to get +1 damage.>

As the eagle attacks one of the skeletons, Moira casts a spell directed at another. A glob of acid forms in her hand, then rockets out toward the skeleton (preferably one not engaged in combat) in one swift motion.

Darvan prepares himself, just in case, and Heldalel's arrow passes between one of the skeleton's ribcages. The eagle that manifests appears behind one of the skeletons, and its talons grasp the ribcage while its beak drives down into the skull, tearing it apart; a second bolt of magic, from Moira's hand, misses and hits along a piece of worked stone, bubbling a small sear into it.
The two remaining skeletons clatter at the entrance to the small sewer passage, and one tears twice at Flange, scoring two more marks across his body, the first for 3 damage, the second for 6. Janiven fires over everyone as well; her arrow, too, goes wide.

Flange spits blood onto the ground and ferociously tears at the skeleton in retaliation.

Eridana maneuvers herself to be within 30 feet of the nearest skeleton. She then points a hand being orbited by a glowing stone. With a shout, the starstone streaks from her hand, erupting in silver light as it hurtles towards the nearest skeleton. After it makes contact, the silver light leaves the stone as it clatters intact to the ground; the light floating back through the sewer ceiling.

Darvan seeing the skeletons numbers thinned out, will move towards it in deliberate fashion, flexing his fingers as he approaches. Once within range he will swipe at the dreaded undead beast.

The final two skeletons collapse as Eridana's magic stone snaps forward and shatters one; Darvan leaps forward and tears apart the one that Heldalel had previously injured, leaving nothing but scattered bone in the small sewer passage. Bits of white dust cling about to Flange (especially) and Darvan. Two arrows remain, usable, in the passage past where the skeletons hang.

Heldalel shifts through the remnants with nothing of note found. The skeletons appear to have been old, dressed in rotten rags and old bits of chain coated in rust. They've clearly been down here for years.
"Just skeletons...there's worse and more down here, Heldalel. Perhaps we should continue going. Flange, if you'd take the lead, just in case?"
