Hey all, Bask in the glory that is Microsoft Paint! I lack the know-how on using drawing programs, so please enjoy. Anyways, it was my idea to give you a vague idea of what the campaign setting looked like. The game will start off on the continent of Dorien, specifically in the town of Oakdale. More information, such as history/races/etc will be forthcoming. Attachments:

Map of Oakdale Academy Key: #0 = Path to Oakdale Town Square #1 = Layman's Square. Classes focusing on general education and training (e.g. mathematics 101, reading/writing, athletics, etc). Students complete their first year here; after which they take the Entrance Exams to the School they wish to specialize in (or are invited to join a School, in the case of School of Shadows). #2 = Hunter's Forest. Training for rangers and those interested in druidry experience their education deep within this forest. A rather high wall, made out of living wood, surrounds it; not only to keep the secrets of the rangers and druids safe, but to protect the rest of the school from the beasts that roam within. #3 = Hunter's Lodge. Didactic classes occur in the only building in the forest. Those specializing in druidic or forestry live here as well, instead of with the other students in the main dormitories. #4 = School of Shadows. No one is entirely sure what is taught in this department at Oakdale Academy. The only fact that is known is that first-year students that are adept in the arts of thievery are invited to join this School. #5 = Academy Square. Departments that specialize in the more "mundane" subjects (Math, Law, Agronomy, Architecture, etc.) are housed here. Additionally, the dormitories for most of the student population can be found here. #6 = The Bardic Academy. All manner of arts, performance, and music are taught in this place; their buildings all surrounding a magnificent auditorium, used for examinations and plays. #7 = Strategist's Square. Training in martial combat, archery, and tactics occur here. This area of the academy is spotted with fighting rings and shooting ranges, with a mini-coliseum a little ways off for examinations. #8 = Path to the Wizarding School. Attachments:

Map of the Wizarding School Here, classes of arcane magic are taught to students aspiring to become wizards, sorcerors, or other magical practicioners. Due to intense rivalry between faculty of the opposing schools of magic, the Department of Wizardry was separated into eight separate Schools/buildings. Even so, the occasional magical duel still erupts between students and faculty between passing periods. It is quite normal for those taking classes outside of the Wizarding School to see fireballs shoot into the air and large rocks fall from the sky, beyond the wall that separates the Academy and the Wizarding School. Those accepted into the Department of Wizardry spend an entire year taking classes from all of the eight schools, in addition to other general classes (alchemy, herbology, etc. These are taught in the Wizard's Tower). At the end of that year, students then wishing to specialize take an examination held by that School of magic. Those that pass continue to take further classes from that school, as well as living in that School's quarters rather than the main dormitories in Academy Square. Those that do not wish to specialize take a more generalized exam, and live in the Wizard's Tower instead. Individuals who fail these exams are dismissed from the Academy. Erfyrn the Sage, who oversees the operation of the Wizarding School and the Academy, lives and performs his research at the top of the Wizard's Tower. Attachments:
