Of course, we have no idea what's being tossed about for restrictions and the like right now, but I thought it might be an idea to start a concept thread...so we don't end up with 4 dwarven fighters.
So, I'd like to avoid playing that which I have recently played. I've delved in the following classes (or are very close to popping into them) of late: cleric, fighter, gunslinger, inquisitor, paladin, wizard.
Ideally, I'd like to play a bard, if that'd fit well, but I am willing to play a standard rogue as well, as my second preference. Beyond that, I'll play to a party-fit role.

I'm thinking about a divine character, because I don't think I've ever played one. Ever. Either a cleric or a paladin, depending on which it seems is more needed.

I thoroughly enjoy my cleric in my live Kingmaker game. Divine characters are sweet. I also am really excited to play my inquisitor in my live RotR game that is quite irregular currently.

I'm thinking about a wizard building towards arcane archer. Could change though once we get details on the setting.

I'm hoping to finish the background on the races/setting this evening or tomorrow. If it will help anything, there are no restrictions/RP bias against any class.

Arcane archer is SO MUCH BETTER in Pathfinder than it was in 3.5.
I'm looking at the archaeologist kit for my bard. With the Whip Mastery tree from Ultimate Combat. And a fedora.

Yeah, it is actually viable! Lol. I'm intrigued... I think I'm going to play a diviner transmuter wizard with a bow as my bonded item, it seems like a fun idea. And that should leave arcane archer as a good option for me.
Nice idea with the bard... Lol. Oh and Juniper - I love divine characters! I think they have a lot of depth to roleplay, and it gives you a lot more background to work with. I've been trying to play an arcane character now but the campaigns they're in keep dying... Lol.

Diviners are really cool in Pathfinder. I like them quite a lot. I haven't played with one personally yet, but they have a lot to offer.

IM, I'm looking at some stuff from Ultimate Combat. They're not yet posted to the SRD. Do you want me to send you the full text or something?

I'm considering taking Craft Magic Arms and Armor as my 5th level wizard bonus feat... will this affect how I purchase weapons / armor at all during character creation?

That's a good question, since I've never really encountered a situation like that before. How about you may craft 1 item using the money you have available, and then you buy the rest?

Works for me! I'm only going to be crafting one item anyway (my bow), so that's fine.

Crafting is really the only way you can get around the +3 restriction on a weapon.
