After some time, Kendra comes back with an old blanket, and a needle and thread. She hands them to Solaz, who seems to be the go-between, and she speaks quietly. "If I were you, I'd bury it somewhere. If the villagers see this house associated with a monster, the next thing hammering at the door may not be a monster, but a mob."
Her eyes flicker to the front doorstep, and then she murmurs very softly. "I shall go upstairs. To my room. I trust to the five of you to deal with this...as quickly as you can. And whatever is causing a monster to attack a town. This might be what my father feared when he wrote his will."
Using the layout of the house, Kendra goes upstairs, and you can hear a door closing.
Meanwhile, Navene has cleaned up what remains of Lorrimor and Chouko examined the remnants of Lorrimor's face, reaching into his throat. But within she finds nothing of note. Certainly not the crumbled bit of onyx she was searching for that would have suggested the grisly figure was animated by the usual necromantic magics.

Fin hears Kendra's door close from upstairs and feels at ease.
"I think the easiest way to get rid of this... will be to go back to the plot where he came from. The hole should already be there... and well... I think if we encounter anyone... I'd rather be a grave robber than the other crimes that we might be accused."

Solaz enters the room and with an effortless motion, threads the needle and begins to sew the Professor's body into the blanket. As she works, she speaks.
"Since it is dark outside, it seems that Fin's idea might be the good one. Since we didn't raise him from the dead, it should be okay to take the body back. It would also give us an opportunity to look at the other crypt and see what is in there."
"We'll need to figure out how to get him to the cemetary....again."
She begins to hum a catchy tune as she sews and doesn't seem to notice that the words that escape her mouth would make a sailor blush.

"We had best move quickly, then, if we hope to avoid the notice of the town. Hopefully there is no caretaker that me might disturb while we're there. But I have a question, and perhaps one of you will know better than I: What else can raise a body from the dead? This isn't the work of a nec...romancer!" Chouko pauses, pleased with herself for only slightly stumbling over the still unfamiliar word. "There was no onyx in his mouth, and they use the stone as part of their ritual."

(Knowledge religion [dice=20] + 7 for Chuoko's question)
"I can fashion a simple stretcher from rope and with all of us, we could carry him. It will be thankfully lighter than carrying the coffin as well."[rand=6083670596754906257136212427211347418841040405499892875687621692]
