Paizo, the publisher of Pathfinder, has made the entire run of their game rules completely OGL, unlike Wizards, which limited OGL to the core books only. The SRD linked above has literally every piece of officially released information given, though it requires a basic familiarity with the d20 System to use.
Pathfinder Campaign Setting Wiki
This is the wiki for the official Pathfinder setting, the world of Golarion. Most campaigns are set in the Inner Sea Region of Golarion (though the next module, Jade Regent, will be about crossing the Crown of the World into Tian, which should be interesting). This has all the flavour information on the world that you need, though if you are interested, I recommend you hit up Paizo.com and grab a copy of the Guide to the Inner Sea.
