Meet Camlo Alban, a human cleric of Desna. Appearance:
Camlo is a handsome man of mixed Taldoran and Chelaxian descent with honey-blonde hair and brilliant blue eyes the color of a cloudless day. He is in excellent shape, but a bit thin for his 6'1" frame. He wears a finely crafted breastplate etched with a star motif designed to mimic the summer sky in Andoran. At his hip is a well-made morningstar with etched stars circling its handle. Underneath the breastplate and when not wearing armor, Camlo has on an explorer's outfit. Mannerisms:
Slightly more pretty than handsome, Camlo is a little embarrassed of looking and acting slightly effeminate. He sometimes attempts to overcorrect for this, which tends to embarrass him further. Background:
Camlo is traveling to Sandpoint on a trade mission for his father's company, Alban & Sons Traders. His father Shandor has run the company ever since he was born, and inherited it from his father before him. Camlo himself was born in Almas in Andoran, but has lived his whole life on the road and at sea. His mother Aishe is a priestess of Desna, traveling along side her husband and loving the journey along the way. She blesses the caravans and ships with good tidings from the goddess of travel and luck, and tends to sick and wounded travelers they meet along the way. Camlo's parents are of mixed Taldoran and Chelaxian descent, but have Varisian names and are culturally Varisian, as they both grew up largely in Varisia. Camlo himself has a lighter skin tone like his parents, unlike the olive hues of native Varisians. Camlo is the second son of his father Shandor, and it had been known since his birth that he would not follow in his father's footsteps. His mother had a vision that he would become a great and goodly man who walked in the path of The Great Dreamer, traveling far and wide by her grace. Already having an heir to the company in Camlo's brother Yoska, Camlo began studying with his mother in the mysteries of Desna. When it became apparent that it was time for Camlo to leave his parents and their life on the road for his own travels, his father put him in charge of a small shipment from Magnimar to Sandpoint. When he left them, both parents gave their warmest wishes and a few gold to get him started on his life. He arrived in Sandpoint a few days ago, and is still looking to sell off the rest of his shipment of grain, herbs and spices. After he has, he plans on selling the mule and cart he arrived with for a little extra cash. All the while, Camlo is looking for signs from Desna for guidance. He hopes to find one at the upcoming Swallowtail Festival. He is currently staying at the Rusty Dragon Inn, as he's heard it's rife with adventurers and the like. Like any young man freshly cut loose, he is eager to see what excitement will come his way next. Meet Darvil! Origins:Darvil was born in the Meirani Forest to parents, both raised as Wizards. His parents had been adept potion brewers and so, all throughout his youth, he had been learning the subtle art of alchemy from them. Needless to say, it was a disappointment, bordering on outrage, that their son wanted to become a warrior. Gamliel and Eliandra, however, loved their son and wanted him to be happy, so they put up with his non-magical desires...besides...they had two other children, both of whom already seemed to be well established in the arcane arts while Darvil was already shaping up to be incredibly talented with knife and swordplay. His young age required him to use quickness and stealth to overcompensate for a significant lack of power. The accidentDuring a lecture on the use of poisoned weapons, Darvil's interest was piqued and he decided to use his parents' lab to experiment with a new poison. The combination of incredibly volatile substances and a limited understanding of the craft resulted in a gigantic explosion with Darvil at the center. The aftermathDarvil was permanently scarred in the resulting explosion, and the poison, untreatable they said, is slowly taking over his body as it stays in his system. His weakened constitution and stunted growth completely ruined any chance he had of completing his warrior training, but Darvil determined, in spite of the fact that it nearly killed him, that he enjoyed working with poisons. The departureShortly before his 110th birthday, he was informed that he had, maybe, thirty more years to live and the poison was beginning to have a radical effect on his body. Among other things, his eyes, were now an electric shade of green. Distraught by the inevitability of his own early demise, Darvil decided to leave home. As he left, the night of his 110th birthday, he sneaked into his father's lab and stole his father's ritual dagger. SandpointDarvil's arrival in Sandpoint was marked with much disaster. Not only had was the town in ruins, but there were TWO other alchemists in the town already and he was completely broke...which is how he became affiliated with the Sczarni. Now, five years later, Darvil was deeply indebted to the Sczarni. If he was lucky, when they called on him to do work, it was smuggling. Now Darvil is looking for a way out. He was able to get a little bit of work in the rebuilding process, but now that it is over, he needs to get the hell out or end up even deeper. Attachments:

Edrik, "The Wandering Knight", is a young man of twenty summers. He has short cut, black hair, brown eyes, no facial hair, and pale skin, a typical Cheliaxian. A midborn scion of House Thrune of Cheliax, he was brought up with the hope that he would eventually take up a prestigious place in one of the various Hellknight orders. Edrik trained to become a knight since he was ten, and put all of his efforts into being the best he could be. That all changed after one day as he watched a squad of Hellknights burn down a family dwelling. The family, who was behind on their taxes, was still inside. After that he decided that he could never become like that, his good nature wouldn't allow it. He shunned both his families plans for him, and their name then fled the city, but not before raiding their armory. He now wanders up the Varisian coast, helping those he can along the way, while he searches for his place in life. Attachments:

Garan Swarthsfeld, intinerant minstrel and storyteller. Appearance: Garan is a rather spunky little gnome, with deep blue/green eyes that one can get lost in very easily. He has short cropped hair, mainly dark red fading to greenish/brown near his neck. He often has a mischevious look on his face, occasionally graced with a brilliant white smile that literally stretches across his entire face. Background: Garan comes from a small community of gnomes that live deep within the Sanos Forest, to the east of Sandpoint. Ever since he was little, Garan has had an insatiable fascination with words and music. Except when asleep, he would always be talking someone's ears off or singing happily to anyone who would listen. Sometimes this got him into a little trouble, as juicy gossip sometimes (often) found its way into his trove of stories. Beyond his hobby, he did not have much direction for his future. The gnomes in the community kept urging him to do something with his life, like apprenticing to a mage or learning a craft. Despite this, he spent much of his time gathering more stories and songs; ranging out to the nearby gnome settlements when running out of material in his community. However, it is said that there is one story Garan will never speak of. Some say that one day they saw him walking along a path deep within the forest; when he encoutered an ethereally beautiful gnome with a bird on her shoulder, with unusually long rainbow-colored tail feathers trailing behind. No one knows what happened next, only that he returned alone to the community with a pale terrified face; his fingers clutching an elegantly crafted lyre, the image of a bird with unusually long tail feathers engraved into its surface. Many rumors blazed around the community like wildfire; the majority of them settling on that Shelyn had decided to direct his life, since clearly he wasn't doing anything with it himself. Shortly thereafter, Garan left the community and traveled out of the forest to the west. He went from village to village, gathering whatever stories or songs he could find. But now, he began to sing and play his treasures for others; his voice now incredibly vibrant and his lyre producing a heavenly sound to accompany his tales. Plying this talent, he became a minstrel to pay for room/board during his travels. Making his way generally westward, Garan found himself arriving in Sandpoint just in time for the Swallowtail Festival. His fingers twitching towards his quill and book in anticipation for all of the stories awaiting, Garan makes his way into the city. Attachments:

Trei, Apprentice Wizard from the Tower of Stars. Appearance:Trei at first glance appears to be a very unkept individual. Contrary to most elves, Trei doesn't keep himself meticulously groomed and his long brown hair is usually full of knots. His clothing looks equally worn. From his appearance alone a stranger would deduce that he was a mere street bum rather than an apprentice wizard. The only clue to the contrary is a silver ring in the shape of a dragon that he wears at all times. Personality:In everyday life Trei is a quiet and somewhat gruff Elf. He tries his hardest not to attract any attention to himself. When placed in a magical setting, such as in the Tower of Stars, Trei's personality changes dramatically. He is inquisitive and outspoken. Background:Like most Elves who show magical aptitude Trei was enrolled in the Tower of Stars at a very young age. Trei excelled in his lessons and easily qualified for apprenticeship at the Tower when he was old enough. Since he didn't spend time with other children during his childhood Trei became somewhat of a loner. His master decided that part of the young wizard's education would have to include some time abroad to expose him to the outside world. An opportunity presented itself when the Tower of Stars received an invitation to the dedication of a new Cathedral in Sandpoint. Normally the school would decline such an offer due to the distance between Sandpoint and the Elven kingdom and because the Wizards were genuinely uninterested in the religious affairs of the other races. Trei’s master volunteered his pupil to go as the Tower’s representative. He would be teleported to the outskirts of the town and would have to make his way back to the tower on his own after the conclusion of the dedication ceremony. Spellbook: Alarm, Burning Hands, Charm Person, Mage Armor, Magic Missile, Obscuring Mist, Shield Attachments:

Brother Jacob was walking along the Varisian Bay as he did every morning. When he first came to the Brotherhood this was the only time that he could find any peace within himself. Something about the waves. Their constant motion, the relentless they possessed as they beat against the rocky beach, the apparent endlessness as he looked out toward the horizon and the newly dawning sun. That was thirty some years ago and now he helps other lost souls find their way to an inner peace that only a life of study, meditation and disciple can bring. He was so lost in thought that he nearly stumbled over the seemly lifeless form that was placed in his path by the waves that Brother Jacob so admired. It was almost as if they knew to bring this being here so that he may find him and help. Brother Jacob cared for and nursed the young man back to health. As he was not able to remember his name or how he came to be on the beach, Brother Jacob named him Murchadh. Murchadh lived and studied with the monks for two years when Brother Jacob suggested that he leave to see if he could discover who he was and why he was on the beach that day. Murchadh is an athletic looking young man, average height and weight for a human. Along with greyish blue eyes and brownish hair he could blend into almost any group and be utterly forgettable. He is clad in a dark brown open robe, white shirt and brown trousers. He also has a quiet and eerily calm demeanor. Attachments:
