Sandpoint Map Guide
All this knowledge is either common knowledge or requires a stupidly easy check to figure out. All individuals are human unless otherwise noted or I missed one.
1. Sandpoint Cathedral Easily the largest building in Sandpoint, this cathedral is also the town's newest structure. It is not dedicated to the worship of a single deity, but has contains altars to the six most commonly worshiped deities in the region. It is built around an open-air courtyard containing a set of seven standing stones surrounding a circular stone altar, all far older than the church. To the south, facing Sandpoint's heart, are the shrines of civilization: Erastil and Abadar. To the west, with a view of the Old Light and the Sea, are the shrines of Shelyn and Gozreh. And to the east, offering a view of the Sandpoint Boneyard and the rising sun, are the shrines of Sarenrae and Desna. The high-priest, who has held his position for five years, is Abstalar Zantus, a worshiper of Desna who is very open about matters of faith and maintains strong friendly ties with each congregation.
2. Sandpoint Boneyard This cemetery is accessible from a gate to the north or from several doors leading to the Cathedral itself. The caretaker (and cathedral bell-ringer), Naffer Vosk, has a twisted spine and sinister lurching gait.
3. The White Deer A pair of wooden life-sized deer, carved with care from white birch, stand astride the entrance to this sizable tavern and inn. The building is new and a grand affair, three stories tall with a stone first floor and wooden upper floors. It is run by a somber Shoanti man named Garridan Viskalai.
4. The Way North A new one-story building housing a cramped and cluttered library run by an aged gnome named Vesnutt Parooh.
5. Jeweler A squat stone building. The business is run by Maver Kesk with help from his wife Pennae. He keeps two local toughs on duty as guards at all times.
6. Junker's Edge Garbage is routinely dumped over the edge of this cliff to gather on the beach below.
7. Gorvi's Shack Home to a fat, heavily tattooed half-orc who employs a large crew to haul garbage for the city.
8. Sage The sole occupant of this ancient building is an old man named Brodert Quink.
9. Locksmith The business is run by a flamboyant dwarf named Volioker Briskalberd.
10. Sandpoint Garrison Includes militia barracks and the town jail. Sheriff Belor Hemlock is native Shoanti, but dresses and acts Chelish, down to changing his last name to its Chelish translation. The jailor is a heavily scarred Shoanti named Vachedi.
11. Sandpoint Town Hall This building includes a room in the basement that serves as the town bank. Sandpoint's mayor Kendra Deverin, is usually here.
12. Savah's Armory Business run by Savah Bevaniky
13. Risa's Place This tavern is owned by a blind old woman named Risa Magravi, who usually is sitting in the common room while her three children, Besk, Lanalee, and Vodger, run the business. Its out of the way location means out-of-towners are rare visitors.
14. Rovanky Tannery Run by Larz Rovanky.
15. Red Dog Smithy Run by a bald, muscular man named Das Korvut. Two or three large red mastiffs are always lounging about nearby.
16. The Pillbug's Pantry Nothing but a painting of a pillbug perched on a mushroom indicates this is a business rather than a home. Aliver "Pillbug" Podiker sells medicine and potions.
17. Bottled Solutions Nisk Tander runs this alchemical shop.
18. Cracktooth's Tavern Owned by Jesk "Cracktooth" Berinni. Popular with the theater crowd.

21. Sandpoint Savories This bakery is owned by Alma Avertin, but largely ran by her twin daughters Arika and Aneka. It is open every day except Sunday and always smells incredible.
22. The Curious Goblin The sign out in front of this bookshop shows a wide-eyed goblin reading a book nearly as tall as him. The inside is testament to Chask Haladan's personal obsession with the written word.
23. Sandpoint Theater This massive playhouse, owned by Cyrdak Drokkus, features one of the most impressive theaters on this side of Varisia, and actively competes with those of Magnimar despite the two-day journey.

25. Sandpoint Lumber Mill One of the oldest buildings in town, this is owned by the Scarnetti family and operated largely by business manager Banny Harker and is partner Ibor Thorn.

28. Madame Mvashti's House The ancient and mysterious Varisian woman Niska Mvashti lives here alone. Various Varisian citizens drop by to help her with household tasks.

32. Scarnetti Mill Managed by Courrin Whesterwill.
33. The Hagfish Owned by one-legged Jargie Quinn, this tavern is a great place for seafood. It gets its name from a large glass aquarium behind the bar, housing a large and repellent hagfish. Also a gambling den.
34. Valdemar Fishmarket Run by Turch Sterglus, a middle-aged man with a lazy eye and a wild white beard. The fishmarket is owned by the Valdemar family.
35. Sandpoint Market Farmer's market is held at the beginning of the week, while out-of-town merchants arrive at the end. Usually empty.
36. Sandpoint Meat Market Run by Chod Bevuk, who is short the little finger on his left hand.
37. The Rusty Dragon An impressive (and quite rusty) iron dragon looms on the roof of this building, owned and operated by the lovely Ameiko Kaijitsu. A "Help Wanted" board is posted by the door, along with a sign offering "discount rooms for anyone who tells an exciting adventure story."
38. Goblin Squash Stables Tended by a retired hunter named Daviren Hosk. Over the entrance to the stable's covered barn are nailed a collection of preserved goblin ears, each with the goblin's name burned into the flesh. In a large bottle is preserved the entire body of another goblin.
39. Two Knight Brewery Run by Gaven Deverin. Brews mead, ale, and rum.
40. Sandpoint Mercantile League Here one can book ship passage, arrange for caravans or carriage transport overland, or send messages to folk in town or across Varisia. Inquiries into land ownership, building construction, and founding new businesses must be directed here. Run by Sir Jasper Korvaski, though ownership is split evenly among Sandpoint's four founding families.

44. The Feathered Serpent Shop owned by Vorvashali Voon, an exotic-looking character with bright blue eyes, long red hair, and almost bronze colored skin.

47. Valdemar Manor The home of Ethram Valdemar, the only one of the original founders still alive, and his family.
48. Scarnetti Manor The home of Titus Scarnetti. This family maintains outdated and conservative Chelish values, and is consequently very unpopular with the Varisian locals.

50. Deverin Manor Home to Kendra Deverin and her deceased brother's widow Vana and his children.
