Here is your plot blurb:
The last thing you remember is nonchalantly entering the city of Acadia. You may be here for business. The local market here is well known as a lucrative sales ground. You may be here for pleasure. The Acadian Falls are a cultural landmark and, damn it, you shouldn't have to NEED a reason to visit a city by a bay. You may be here for more nefarious purposes...
However, you do know that you were jumped by the guard within minutes of traversing down one of the alleyways off of the market--and (maybe for the first time in your life) you weren't even doing ANYTHING WRONG!
You find yourself in a jail cell. Where on the name of The Pantheon have they taken you?
The things I will need from you:
1. Where are you from? Why are you here? It's a big city, you should be able to come up with something! I would much prefer everyone to be from somewhere far away or isolated from this region. There is a forest in the area that is in-bounds if you would prefer to at least be from somewhere on the map...I will have a (fabricated) map up shortly of the general area that we'll be working in.
This is a completely home brewed storyline, so the more back story you give me to work with, the better I'll be able to intertwine you into the story. If you give me a vague backstory, I'll find something for you to help you flesh it out as we move through the world.
2. I need a reason for you to get thrown in jail. The more trumped up, obviously false, or completely unreasonable you can make this charge the better. I'm willing to offer extra XP/have gold fall from the sky for the one that makes me the most amused.
3. I need your patience as I try some incredibly new things that may or may not work as well as I hope.
4. I need you to have fun! I want this to be experimental and somewhat exploratory. I'll try to include some sandbox elements as I can, as well.
We'll start with level one characters. Also, we'll be using the [glow=red,2,300]FAST[/glow] character XP totals.
If you are interested, please have your character sheet posted as soon as possible. I will begin when we have everybody posted.
